The Lebanon County Council on the Arts sponsors the Lebanon Art Walk.  The Council serves as an advocate for artists working in all disciplines and as a clearing house for information concerning the arts.  It services include classes for both adults and children, inexpensive studio rentals, and a Web site that serves as a gateway to member artists' sites and member organizations.  It also hosts various exhibitions, promotes theater, dance and music, and is the coordinating organization behind Lebanon's First Friday Art Walk.

The First Friday Art Walk takes place on the first Friday of every month from 5-8 PM.  A calendar of events for each walk is posted on the Council's Web site.

Trinity UMC participates monthly in the First Friday Art Walk.  Our participation is led by Jack Stouffer, who has an interest in the art of storytelling.  Jack is concerned that no one's story be lost, and he encourages everyone to share their own story in some way.  Jack has an uncanny knack of finding individuals who are willing to share either some form of artistic expression or some aspect of life that they find interesting.  Trinity's participation in the Art Walk has ranged from a viewing a glass carrousel collection, to showing antique cars, to role playing a famous historical figure, to caroling at Christmas.

If you are interested in participating in the First Friday Art Walk, or have something you would like to share, please contact Jack Stouffer.
